Telemarketing scam seems to be on the rise nowadays. A victim of this kind of scam is always advised to report it to the authorities so that they can shut the fraudulent operation down.

It is no doubt that there are legitimate companies that use the telephone for marketing. Nonetheless, consumers and businesses lose millions of dollars every year to telemarketing fraud.

Residents of central Manitoba earlier this month were warned of fraud targeting the area.
