Winnings Fraud Scam

There are people trying to scan using this "Capital & Assets Management Inc. from Canada in a letter stating that you have won a large amount of money 2.3 million US Dollars distributed between 20 declared winners. This intitle you to the sum of $170, 000 dollares. include a $4280.85 check inclosed with a letter which tells you must call call 1-416-828-6158 contacting them prior to cashing the check, then they say that they will activate the check go ahead and cash but, you will need only pay taxs of $2900.00 you keep the remainder, after cashing the check once you've cashed the check call them back for directions to send the tax payment and they will send the remainder of the winnings by UPS in 48hrs after you pay the tax. After contacting the Sumitmo Mitsui Banking Corporation that was listed on the check we found that it was a fake/false and there has been a hundred checks like this submitted through the bank. Be aware that if you submit the check through the bank you will be responsible to pay back the money.
