CANADABANK.NET CORP

I am apprehensive that after almost a month that I have invested with CanadaBank.net and monitoring the interests daily as the maturity is for 200 days or 40 weeks, now I cannot access their site. By browsing, I ended up to this site and found the warnings about CanadaBank.net Corp. What will now happen to my investment if their site is no longer accessible? Please advise. I have full trust with CanadaBank.net and do not believe on negative reports considering that they have been in existence since 1998.

The other post was a copy of an FDIC (the government insurance for banks in the USA) alert on the matter.

Canadabank.net name server is not responding when accessed from the USA or South American (and apparently the Phillipines) at the moment.

That could be a network failure or it could be someone took the site offline.

You might contact the FDIC or phonebusters as listed in the other site directly for more information..

Although you say they have been around since 1998 that is not always an assurance of their future "success". For example research "The Brothers" in Costa Rica who offered "investors" 2-3% or more returns MONTHLY. Even though they paid interest (or compounded) it for decades, one day the police raided their offices and the founder disappeared with what was rumored to be $1 billion or more in assets. 3 or 4 years later it is still a mystery, but after having received interest payment for decades no longer get a penny.

Many still argue about whether it was a legitimate ivestment or a ponzi scheme and whether they will again pay interest. Many cite the decades of "sucessful" operation as an indication they were legit and will return.

"What will now happen to my investment if their site is no longer accessible?" Do you have other contact information? How long as their site been down?
